Cowboy Dinner and Church @ St. Olaf (featuring The Psalms Project)
This year at Cowboy Church, we will get to hear music from Shane Heilman of The Psalms Project. Our speaker is Rev. Kirk Thorson who is the pastor at Living Word Free Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, SD.
Chamberlain Christian Book Club - You Are What You Love
We will be discussing You Are What You Love by K.A. Smith. You can find the discussion guide here. Please have as much of the book read ahead of time as possible.
Our next book is a work of fiction called, Out of the Silent Planet by C.S. Lewis. This is the first book of Lewis’s Space Trilogy. It plunges the depths of human nature and morality. It was written when Lewis and his good friend, J.R.R. Tolkien were lamenting about the lack of good science fiction. Tolkien was supposed to write a time-traveling novel and Lewis a space-traveling novel. Tolkien never finished his, but Lewis competed a trilogy which is a masterful work of art. New Member Class
We’ll have our first new member class at Pr. Schultz’s house. We’ll plan on eating dinner then discussing the first two sections of the book.
St. Olaf Game Night
Join us for a night of board games, fellowship, and fun on March 9th. The fun will begin at 7 PM and will go for at least a couple hours. Invite your friends and neighbors, bring your favorite game, and a snack to share. Friends from PFLC are obviously invited too!

Middle School Youth Retreat
Some of our youth are going to the Association Retreat Center in Osceola, WI for Sno-Daze! This is a fun weekend retreat that has great teaching and lots of recreational opportunities!
We will schedule pickups for Friday morning and drop-offs on Sunday night.
Sno-Daze campers will need to bring the following:
Bible and pencil
Sleeping Bag
Pillow
Towel/Washcloth
Clothes for indoor and outdoor activities (See some of the things available here)
Skiing/snowboarding clothes for Trollhaugen, if you wish to go.
Money for Friday Lunch and Sunday Lunch
Trollhaugen Ski Resort Prices:
Lift Ticket: Youth (6-12) - $50; Adult (>12) - $65

Due to the severe weather forecast, all worship services, classes and meetings are cancelled this Sunday. Pr. Schultz will post his sermon on Saturday evening for you to listen to on YouTube or via Podcast. Check back to the website on Sunday to listen.
St. Olaf’s Annual Meeting has been rescheduled for January 28th. St. Olaf will swap service times with Pukwana and have a potluck on that Sunday before between worship and the meeting.
